From the impossible to the very possible.
Lockdecoders Ltd has a history going back 46 years when our founder, Peter Southern, commenced his apprenticeship in locksmithing.
It was a very different job back then and 15 years ago, having been involved in research and development for 12 whole years, he ceased personal locksmithing and founded Lockdecoders Ltd in 2010.
Right from the beginning his longstanding personal contacts allowed him to work with small manufacturers to improve and further develop their tools to meet new demands.

Miracle key cutting machines
The most important of those are firstly the Miracle range of automatic keycutting machines from South Korea of which, over the years and to many countries we have sold thousands beginning in 2010 with the Miracle A5 which was a revolution in automatic key machines especially designed for the mobile auto locksmith. That evolved over the years becoming more versatile, faster and quieter and ever better value for money with machines coming as Miracle A6 to A9 and the best key machine the Miracle S10 which has won awards and still being sold for a few years yet. Now lets talk Nova....Being released in just a few weeks - 2 years in development - which we will shortly unveil. WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

The MiraClone
Simultaneously we have developed and refined a series of MiraClone transponder copying and eepromming devices which we have made in Poland, ever evolving until now we have the unequalled MiraClone Plus which outclasses all competitors and offers simple and detect facilities for lost keys and dozens of other solutions. We decided to make it easy for our thousands of customers to upgrade from the older version with a whole set of inexpensive replacement offers.

SPVG - VAG programming
About 10 years ago we entered into a special arrangement with the Czech business now known as SPVG whose specialise equipment is unequalled in the field of lost key and reprogramming over the wide range of VW, Seat and Skoda cars.

And now, LONSDOR
More recently we have decided to market Lonsdor equipment, offering radically quick lost key work on a wide range of vehicles – superb throughout the Toyota range as well as most other marques. Right now we have these with a terrific offer of freebies.

We’ll hold your hand.
We have always been aware of the difficulties that our locksmith friends have in getting going with new equipment so right from the beginning we have prided ourselves on the technical support we give, mostly free, to solve those small issues. That has also helped us to become aware of new key patterns, new transponder types, new car security issues and so instruct our factories in software changes needed.

Magic engraving machines.
Apart from all that we also market a very wide range of engraving and marking machines for shop-based businesses and manufacturers under the MAGIC label, again from South Korea. Beautifully made and infinitely versatile. A lot of those are exported to a surprisingly wide range of countries.
