Magic Turbo-C3 Brass mould carving
By Red Technologies Ref: Turbo-C3
Turbo-C3
1. Difference:
The main difference between the IMP-C1 and the TURBO-C3 is the size of the workspace. The IMP-C1 has a workspace size of 75 mm x 45 mm, whereas the TURBO-C3 has a workspace size of 172 mm x 169 mm.
The TURBO-C3 supports brass mould carving. It also supports the carving of seals and traditional stamps, which are specific to Korea, China and Japan, whereas the IMP-C1 focuses solely on this.
2. Which to choose?
Honestly speaking about the two machines:
If you need a brass mould smaller than 75 mm x 45 mm, the IMP-C1 is perfect because it is easy to use and can fit into small spaces thanks to its compact design. It is also very intuitive to use and has safely protected inner parts, as well as offering brass chip spread protection.
However, if the required mould size exceeds these dimensions, the TURBO-C3 is currently the only option. However, due to its structural differences and additional features, it is slightly more difficult to use and the inner parts and chip spread protection are not as robust.
3. Who is suited to each?
The IMP-C1 is ideal for those doing average-level leather craft, hot-foil stamping, and industrial work involving small brass moulds.
If you need to use larger moulds or want to carve traditional East Asian stamps, choose the TURBO-C3.
